About Megan
Calgary born and raised and REALTOR® of 20 years, my goal is to ensure that you have the best real estate experience possible. Real estate work for me involves much more than the just the practical side, it also involves applying my knowledge of personal finance, land administration, experience in home renovations & professional staging, and my acute attention to detail to create the best possible results for the people I am working with. I provide assistance through the complicated and intimidating details to finalizing the transaction. As a guide, I will be sure to help you avoid common pitfalls like buying strictly on emotion, or perhaps overextending yourself, and losing sight of the legal or financial details.
I advise all of my clients to envision their real estate investment as an integral part of their overall financial plan. That might mean encouraging young couples to consider their future needs for extra bedrooms, for example, or helping people look beyond superficial things like décor to focus on square footage and location – where the real value is. I really strive to save people time and money down the road, to help them make the best decision for the long term.
With experience buying, renovating, staging and reselling homes, I am also constantly asking questions, taking any relevant courses, and seeking out the whys and wherefores of the ever-changing Calgary real estate market. I feel I have a responsibility to be aware, and to be on top of things, and I take that very seriously. I also understand that real estate is more than numbers and contracts. I work very hard to build trust with my clients, and I do so by truly caring about them. I would be miserable to find out someone wasn’t happy, and I’ve worked hard to make sure that never happens.
In a business that sometimes has a reputation for focusing strictly on sales, my high ethical standards demand that I put my clients’ needs first, even when it costs me. I need to do what’s right, it’s important to me. I’m hoping to become someone’s realtor for life, not just for the transaction.
